The Ambiq Micro Solution

The Energy-Efficient Challenge

Small microprocessors are appearing in an incredible variety of useful and mission-critical products, such as:

  • medical devices
  • powered credit cards
  • energy meters & monitors
  • electronic shelf labels
  • home & building automation systems
  • environmental monitors
  • asset tracking devices
  • consumer products

and more.

Each of these applications require a processing system which is physically tiny and operates for an extremely long period on a small battery.

Today, the power dissipation of the vast majority of electronic systems severely restricts battery life in each of these applications.

The Ultra-Low Power Solution

Building on years of research by world renowned power experts at the University of Michigan, Ambiq Micro has developed breakthrough ultra-low power technology which increases battery life in embedded applications by a factor of 10X to 50X while reducing cost and physical size.
